About Setubal
Lying on the northern bank of the estuary of the river Sado, about 40 km south of Portugal's capital, Setubal is known as an important centre of the fishing industry. The town's main historical monument is the Monastery of Jesus, a fine representative of the late Gothic style known as Manueline.
